As a matter of fact, Skydive Carolina’s founder Danny Smith hails from just outside of Asheville and made his first career in downtown Charlotte as a Vice President of First Union Bank!
Skydive Carolina is also relatively close to other popular North Carolina locations, including Greensboro, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Hickory, and Asheville, NC.

NC Skydiving Requirements and Costs
TANDEM SKYDIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- Cannot weigh more than 225 lbs
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to present a valid, government-issued, photo ID
- No alcohol after midnight, the night before the scheduled jump
- No alcohol permitted on the premises
- No dogs permitted on the premises, including spectators’ dogs
